In module two, we start moving into performance nutrition. We look at meal timing to maximise your training and recovery.
In this module you will learn all about your menstrual cycle. The different phases, the symptoms, how your hormones can affect your training and nutrition and much more!
We go deeper into the menstrual cycle in this module. We look at REDs Syndrome and low energy availability among female combat athletes. We also look at Hypothalamic Amenorrhea or when your period goes missing as a female athlete and practical tips to start your recovery.
You have nailed down your nutrition, you know your menstrual cycle inside out, now it is time to look at fight week protocols. What can you do on fight week to make fully sure you are on weight without compromising your performance? It's all covered in module 5, we look at same day, day before and multi-day weigh-ins.
